Engelberg piste & ski map Skiing & snowboarding in Engelberg, Mount Titlis

The ski area of Engelberg is extensive largely catering for intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders.

Ski area

The ski area contains 82kms of pistes and an abundance of great off-piste freeride itineraries for good intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders.

Engelberg is not that great for beginners as, apart from the nursery area in the village, there are only 8 blue pistes and many of these are serviced by dreaded T-bar lifts. Having said that, the sunny slopes on Brunni and Gerschnialp are ideal with gentle gradients and never too busy.

Good intermediates are well catered for with many challenging reds and blacks around the Titlis ski area. However, for skiers who don't like off-piste or blacks, the Brunni ski area has some good runs such as the long blue from Schonegg.

Engelberg comes into its own when you talk about a challenging ski area and its largely off-piste so no need for your ski map - just a good mountain guide. The Steinberg glacier route from Klein Titlis to Trübsee (lake) is not to be missed nor is the trail from Galtiberg with 2,000m of vertical!.
