By plane

Hemsedal is in the middle of South Norway between Bergen and Oslo with the nearest airport being Fagernes. Airport transfers from Fagernes to Hemsedal take around 35 minutes to cover the 40km. The transfers from Bergen, Torp and Oslo take considerably longer although the scenic journey is well worth the extra time.

By train

The nearest train station is Gol, about 30 km from Hemsedal taking around 20 minutes by bus. The train from Oslo to Gol takes approximately 3 hours or if you are leaving from Bergen, around 3 1/2 hours. See more details at www.nsb.no.

By car

If you like driving and enjoy spectacular scenery then the 4-5 hour drive from Bergen is for you - hire a car from the airport and set off and experience the world's longest road tunnel at 25km!
